Premie baby(s)? Emotionally overwhelming? Call me

Hi! My name is Carol. The picture is of my daughter, she was born at 33 weeks gestation. She is all caught up now. But the experience is still fresh in my head as if it happened yesterday! I know how much of an emotional roller coaster ride it is having a premature baby. The issues one has to deal with including the overwhelming feelings of guilt. So much to absorb, the NICU, the neonatologists, the nurses, the scrubs, the wires and moniters. Then comes the day that never seemed would happen, when they tell you that you can take your baby home. That is also a whole new ballgame. I will be here to listen to you, your fears, your dreams. You can call me to vent...to cry...to laugh...to ask for advice from one parent of a premie to another.
